YO fellow cca mates! (:

Sorry to have made ur day so emo. But i think it's really impt to bring the msg across clearly. Im also very sorry to have taken up time for sectional discussion and your xiaozu time. Pls pass my apologies to your instructors for disrupting their xiaozu lessons. Oh well, at least the session was meaningful, dont you think so? ;)Haha, whether you disagree or agree that im bad at words, i would like to let u guys know that though i may not be influencial enough to make u guys fully convinced with what i say, i, together with ur beloved committee, will do our best to bring NYCO to greater heights. (:

However, our efforts are insufficient. Remember, WE ARE ONE FAMILY (sorry, i know i've repeated this for many times)! We work together! In other words, we also need YOU guys to make NYCO better.

Currently, NYCO's standards have dropped drastically over the years, regardless of standard, attitude or discipline. There's no point for the committee to put in unlimited efforts when you guys are not pushing yourselves. So i would like to urge all of you to try to put yourself into our/the teachers' shoes. The least you can do is to do wel for your own part. Of course, it'll be great if you can also gel with your cca mates! (: Seriously, if you compare CO with other CCAs, i think im the only president who doesnt scold. People have been telling me that I need to be fiercer, but i feel that standard, attitude and discipline comes within one's self, not through the lectures and scolding. After all, we're alrdy sec sch people, we dont need scoldings to remind us of the right actions right? Oh well, im not very sure, but that's just how I feel and i also hope we really do not need to work by scolding. Besides, these things are standard. We've been saying the same thing over and over again. I dont think it's becos you guys have forgotten them, it's just that it hasnt been instilled in yourself. So it's pointless to reiterate what has been said. Though the previous warnings about the noise level during dazus were kinda useless, i really hope today's session will really make us do the right things from within our heart, not becos you are being told to do so.

Next, i'd really like to urge you guys to show more concern towards Mrs Ee. If you have been observant nowadays, u'd realised that Mrs Ee is under high level of stress, not just becos of NYCO, but also other school stuff. So let's not add anymore pressure on her ok? Let's make dazus more enjoyable! So that she'll feel more relaxed during pracs instead of getting more stressed up. Not only Mrs Ee, Lin Lao Shi is also very worried about our progress. We are not their only committment; they have other things to worry and stress abt, so let's not let them get stressed up ok? You may wonder what we can do to help them. Well, i think the best way is to make them feel relaxed during our prac and the minimum that we can do is to make pracs more effective by giving them our full attention.

Last but not least, i would like to talk about our concert goals. Seriously speaking, im quite disappointed that you guys do not have any goals in mind, It's april alrdy and concert is still smth insignificant to all. Im not sure if you guys were just too shy to share your views, but i hope my previous statement was a misunderstanding. Concert is one of the significant events. Im sure after you've graduated, you'd like to say,"oh! i once had an awesome concert with nyco!" and not,"awww. in my year, we had a lousy concert. if only we have put in more effort...". Well, this is my principle, since you are in it, why not make the best of it? You guys all say your goal is to have a good concert, but have you considered what's YOUR definition of a good concert? Diff people will have diff definitions. For me, I hope NYCO can break our limits and create unforgettable memories esp for concert period. Ultimately, i hope we can make music that impresses the audience becos of our united spirit and our moving music. Let's work towards it ok!

Hence, from now on, we shall be united as a CO, as a big family. Let us share the sweat and tears, and work towards our common goal together! (: No matter what the outcome is, we just have to do our very best and leave no regrets! Trust me, the process will be really memorable. Jiayou NYCO! (:

PS: NYCO, i love you! i really love you! (:
